This (very) floral chuppah also has a unique feature – if you look carefully you’ll see that the chuppah has a ‘personalised’ canopy. The bride, Rabbi Miri Lawrence (Director of the Beginnings Early Childhood Centre based at the West London Synagogue) and the groom, Dr Howard Cohen asked family and friends to each knit a square which was then assembled together to form a unique canopy to the chuppah under which they were married. The couple plan to then hang the canopy in their home as a lovely memory of their ‘special’ day.
