The Gold Frame Chuppah is a Jewish wedding canopy built from polished gold powder-coated steel. It is a structural design rather than a draped one: it can stand bare as an architectural frame, be dressed with fabric, be covered entirely in floristry, or carry your own tallit. About the Gold Frame Chuppah
Some couples want the chuppah to recede and let the ceremony speak. Others want it to be the thing everyone remembers. This is for the second kind.
The frame is powder-coated steel in a warm polished gold – not a bright brassy yellow, which cheapens fast under photography, but a deeper tone that sits well against ivory, blush, champagne and the deep jewel colours that a lot of couples build a winter palette around.
It is genuinely four designs in one. Left bare, it is a clean gold rectangle in space and reads as very modern. Draped, it becomes formal and traditional. Covered in floristry, the metal disappears and you have a flower structure that happens to be perfectly rigid. Hung with a family tallit, it becomes personal. We have supplied it all four ways, often in the same season.
It responds to warm ambient light better than almost anything else we hold. In a room with candlelight or amber uplighting the gold picks it all up and appears to glow from the surface. It has been a favourite at The Langham and the Mandarin Oriental, and it works just as well in a marquee.

Any of four things: nothing at all, for a minimal architectural look; draped white or ivory fabric; a full floral covering built by your florist; or your own family tallit. The frame is designed to carry all four.
Yes. We hire the Gold Frame in both a square/rectangular and a circular format. The circular version frames the couple symmetrically and is noticeably easier for a photographer to shoot from the aisle.
It is a warm gold rather than a bright yellow, and it sits comfortably with white, ivory, cream, blush, champagne and deep jewel tones. It fights hardest with cool silver-grey palettes - if that is your scheme, the White Wood or Perspex would serve you better and we would say so.
Yes, subject to a site assessment. Steel is stable in wind but any freestanding structure has limits, and we would rather turn a booking down than install something we are not confident about.
