The Triple Birch Chuppah is a Jewish wedding canopy built from hand-selected silver birch poles with the bark left intact, paired at each corner. Because the poles branch naturally, it is the best structure we hold for floristry: florists can wire arrangements, trailing greenery and hanging blooms directly into the branches. The paired corners give it a wider, more architectural presence than the Single Birch, and carry the weight of a full floral covering. 2.5m to 3m wide.
About the Triple Birch Chuppah
There is no way to fake this one. Every pole is a real silver birch, hand-selected, with its bark and its branching left as it grew. That means no two Birch Tree Chuppahs we build are identical – the structure you stand under will be genuinely one of a kind, which is not a marketing line so much as an unavoidable property of using real trees.
Florists like it more than anything else we hire. A metal or timber frame gives a florist four straight lines and a top rail to work along. Birch gives them a branching armature at every height, so arrangements can be wired in at the fork of a branch, greenery can trail from the top, and the finished chuppah reads as though it grew that way rather than as flowers attached to a frame.
The single birch uses one pole per corner and stays light and airy – right for an intimate room or a garden. The triple birch pairs poles at each corner for a wider, more architectural presence, which grander spaces and heavier floral installations need. If your florist is planning a full covering, ask for the triple.

Yes - it is the design we take outdoors most often, and it looks entirely at home in a garden or woodland setting. We have installed it at Kew Gardens among other outdoor venues. We will discuss ground conditions and any shelter you need when you enquire.
Usually floristry, built across the top by your florist. A simple white fabric canopy also works, as does a family tallit stretched between the poles. All three are common.
